The sales administrator plays an integral role in ensuring the success of AJA’s sales efforts. The position is responsible for managing the administrative tasks related to sales processes, such as tracking quotes and orders, organizing & maintaining customer data and records standards, providing reports as requested, and ensure efficient relevant workflow capture.
Requirements:
- Manage and maintain the company’s data and records in its customer & prospect databases, including contact records, across all accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate onboarding of channel partners and document management in conjunction with Legal and Finance as to mapping legal entity relationships for account records.
- Work closely and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Provide support to ensure compliance with sales policies and procedures.
- Provide support to the sales team by assisting with quote through order, shipment, and invoice processing, and providing customer service.
- Assist with creating sales reports and analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, including reseller standings & quota achievement.
- Support the management of the channel partner online portal to ensure consistency of content and usage to help drive adoption.
- Uphold account review processes, including but not limited to, assist with development of annual process documents, templates, meetings, training, and communications.
- Process and maintain channel partner discount tiers in the CRM system.
- Support incentive queries from channel partners, manufacturer representatives and territory managers.
- Assist with provision of forecast and accrual data to finance and manufacturing on a quarterly basis.
- Support reporting and user logins for Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and Registered Large Deals (RLD) programs.
- Work across time zones as needed, and effectively manage workload around business cycles, e.g., quarter and year end.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Excels at attention to detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness in review of work product while using a meticulous approach towards precise focus on small tasks and processes while maintaining advancement of an overall objective.
- Knowledge of sales processes and procedures.
- Familiar with sales management software and tools, such as customer relationship management (CRM) software, Microsoft 365, and other data analysis & reporting tools.
- Proven skills using Excel and Word.
- Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
- Strong skill sets in communication, organization, and time management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Adherence to company policies and support of management decisions and goals in a positive and professional manner.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. The base pay for this position is $24.08 – 33.11 per hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience, education, training and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
